What is a Yukuta?

A YUKATA WORKSHOP
LEARN HOW TO PUT ON A COTTON KIMONO!
The yukata is popular during the summertime in Japan. Yukatas will be available to rent (women only, please). After the workshop, photographs will be taken with participants holding a Uchiwa (a Japanese fan) and wearing Geta (wooden sandals).
Workshop fee is $50 if you bring your own; $70 if you would like to rent a kimono (limited number available). If you plan on renting a kimono, please refrain from wearing perfume and wear a v-neck t-shirt.
Please bring: obi, three koshihimo (sashes), a v-neck t-shirt and three washcloth towels
