I recently dined at Zo Ca Lo for the first time and it was wonderful. The ambiance is great, the service was fantastic and the food was amazing. In fact, one taste of the food and you almost don’t NEED the cool ambiance, art and lighting. I recommend the tuna tartare with those fresh chips, to DIE for. Also the chile dusted scallops were to die for. Flawless seasoning and cooked to perfection.
The two owners are also the chefs, and you can really feel and taste the talent and passion for food. They also happenb to be two of the coolest guys you will ever meet. They have a very hands-on approach and it shows.
I cannot wait to go back and try all the other stuff on the menu.
OH and I hear they are starting brunch, as well. Can’t wait to try that when I return in June!
I love the polenta fries at Zocalo’s
