Sue Battani - Founder of CVille Concierge

A word from Sue:

My husband, Ray and I started Cville Concierge just a few months ago. I am married to my high school sweetheart going on 18 years and we have two beautiful girls, Alexa 14 & Olivia 9. We moved here from south Florida in 2001 after being fed up with the lack of seasonal change, not to mention the overwhelming unfriendly ‘feel’ of south Florida. Although all of our family and friends were around us we still felt pulled to make a change for us and the benefit of our girls. We found a book called 50 of The Best Places to Raise Your Family and set our sights on Virginia as our first place to check out. We visited Charlottesville and never looked back. Sold our family business, sold our house on our own, said our goodbyes to family and friends and much to their disbelief we didn’t come running back to Florida after our first winter! We love it here and we are so thankful every day for the opportunity to live and work in such an amazing community.

As I mentioned, my husband and I started this business a few months ago when we noticed an increase in stress levels in people trying to pack too many things into their day and trying to be too many things to too many people. We wanted to create a resource for individuals and businesses where we take on the daily errands and chores of the day, thereby giving people back the gift of time. We are fully insured and bonded and take our clients requests very seriously. We are dependable, trustworthy and hold our clients names and their requests in the strictest of confidence.

Our belief is that once our clients put their trust in us to shop for their groceries, pick up their dry cleaning, wait at their home for a service provider to arrive, find a gift for a special someone, they will appreciate the time they are given back to spend with family, friends or even having quite time alone. Our motto is ….Dream, love, laugh…live a life uncomplicated. Life is too short, they say. Shouldn’t you live a life doing the things you love with the people you love?
