Toan Nguyen

With an architectural degree, a Darden MBA, and years of a globe-trotting lifestyle working for corporate America, you would think that Toan deserves all the credit for the success of Cville Coffee.

However, Toan will be the first to credit his bright and precocious daughter for Cville Coffee. You see, if Toan had his way, Cville Coffee would have been christened Perspectives, as in:

• a place where you would meet and share your perspective over a cup of coffee
• a gentle nod to his days as an architect

This was all very fine and subtle, but as his daughter pointed out, "Dad, people will think it's a framing shop. Why not call it Cville Coffee instead?"
